Traveling to Vasa


Flying to Vaasa:

Probably the fastes way to reach Vasa is by airplane. The airport is located about 15 minuted outside of the city, and a taxi will cost about 20-25 euros. As long as it fits our schedule we will of course be happy to pick you up personally from the airport.

Flying to Helsinki:

It is also possible to fly to Helsinki and take a train or rental car to Vaasa. A one-way ticket with the train for an adult from Helsinki to Vasa is about 50 €. The trainride takes about 4-6 hours, depending on your connections.

 

Flying to Tampere:

Another option is to fly with Ryanair (www.ryainair.com) to Tampere. A trainride from Tampere to Vaasa takes about 3 hours, and will cost about 40 euros.

 

 

 

CAR AND FERRY:



Traveling by Ferry:


If you are travelling to Finland by Ferry, you can arrive in either Helsinki or Turku, with for example TallinkSilja (www.tallinksilja.fi) or Finnlines (www.finnlines.com), VikingLine (www.vikingline.fi).

 

From both Helsinki and Turku you can either rent a car or take the train to Vaasa.
